Earth Day clean up crew

To celebrate Earth Day, the Marshfield Democratic Town Committee is putting together a cleanup crew for the annual Keep Marshfield Clean Community Day. This is the second time the town committee is participating in this event, and we hope to have a good showing.

The Keep Marshfield Clean Community Day is on Saturday, April 27th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., rain or shine. Our clean-up crew will be working on cleaning up roads and trails in Marshfield Center. (Webster St., Plain St., Ocean St., Bridle Path Trail, and Rail Trail)

The crew will be meeting at Dandelion Park at 9 a.m. on April 19.

This is a great opportunity to work as a community to make Marshfield a better place to live. The volunteer opportunity is about 2 hours of work. Crew members will be picking up garbage along Marshfield Road and trails. Volunteers should wear gloves and appropriate clothing for this volunteer opportunity.
