The SSDC PAC is turning out the vote in swing states by covering the cost of travel and lodging for local South Shore volunteers to help elect Democrats in battleground states. SSDC PAC volunteers have knocked on thousands of doors from Maine to Florida to turn out the vote and help Democrats win elections. The grassroots provide the volunteers that are needed in battleground states.
Political campaigns need two things to win: money and volunteers on the ground. SSDC PAC is providing South Shore volunteers the resources to travel around the country and help in key Democratic campaigns. The SSDC is growing our party by bringing in new volunteers who are passionate about national races and are now engaging in state and local politics.
Last election cycle the SSDC PAC helped coordinate volunteer opportunities for 95 South Shore activists in Pennsylvania, including a large trip the weekend before the election. SSDC PAC is action-oriented and focused on providing great opportunities for local volunteers. This year the team will be hosting local phone banks and running out-of-state trips for the activists.
